David Dennis is group manager for the Microsoft Business Solutions team in Redmond, Wash. He manages a team of accounting and project management experts responsible for researching, defining, and specifying leading solutions for project-driven organizations. During the seven-plus years he has worked in the software industry, he cofounded a company that created Web-based project collaboration solutions and worked as the principal of a Web development organization in Silicon Valley. He also has worked as a public school teacher and has trained educators in integrating software with classroom curricula.
