Put on the international stage as the host to the Democratic National Convention for the 2012 US Presidential election, the City of Charlotte, North Carolina, needed a solution to handle the complexities of managing such a major event. Having to ensure safety and security for event attendees and citizens, the Event Permitting office turned to Dynamics CRM Online to orchestrate many separate events throughout their city properties as well as to help coordinate the activities of multiple city departments. The City had such success with the convention that they have since extended the use of CRM Online to manage hundreds of community events to improve the quality of life for citizens of this vibrant and growing municipality.
